The Library of Old Norse (LON) was established by PHI in 2016 as an initiative to make the Old Norse heritage literature freely available online, in its original language with translations into modern Scandinavian languages and English.

The first stage of the project was finished in February 2017 and a symposium was held at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters on February 23rd to launch the pilot version. See photos from the event.
